Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-7 years experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in a licensed and accredited Acute Care Facility.
• Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist license from the State of California Department of Health Services.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory test procedures in one or more sections of the Clinical Laboratory, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
• Lead QC, department operations and inventory; act as lead CLS.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment; troubleshoot instruments and reagents.
