Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist (AHMC) to supervise laboratory personnel and oversee all testing. The role ensures policy adherence, quality control, and safety in a CA lab, with responsibility for accreditation and OSHA standards.

California CLS license is required; ASCP/NCA preferred. Leadership experience is welcomed for staff management and program oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, biological sciences, chemical sciences or allied health technologies or equivalent (required).
• Five years of clinical laboratory experience (preferred).
• Two years of leadership experience (preferred).
• Valid California CLS license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all laboratory testing and coordinates POCT.
• Establishes test performance characteristics (precision, accuracy, reference ranges).
• Coordinates equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration.
• Manages staffing to ensure coverage.
• Oversees quality control, quality assurance and preventive maintenance.
