Job summary

Exagen Inc. is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform high complexity testing in the Flow and Immunochemistry departments. The role works closely with the Head of Immunology to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate reporting of results.

Shifts are Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with duties including maintenance, QA, and collaboration with the Research department on assay validation and improvements.

Qualifications

• California State CLS license or CCS is required.
• Bachelor's in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in clinical laboratory procedures.
• Review test data, QC, QA, and proficiency testing.
• Perform Flow and Immunochemistry testing and report results.
• Maintain instrument calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Document QC results and actions.
