Job summary

Gift of Hope Laboratory is seeking a seasoned professional to perform high-complexity tests including molecular HLA typing, flow cytometry, and infectious disease assays. You will lead a section, review clinical cases, and contribute to process improvements within a compliant laboratory environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s in a biological/medical field, plus CHT/CHS certification or progress toward it, and at least 2 years in histocompatibility or related testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in high complexity testing in histocompatibility, immunology, infectious disease or virology.
• Certification as CH(T) or CH(S) or ability to obtain within 18 months.
• Proficient with Excel and laboratory software systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-complexity laboratory testing using established methodologies such as molecular HLA typing, flow-cytometry, genetic analysis, HLA antibody screening, ABO typing, and infectious disease testing.
• Serve as section lead with oversight for designated lab areas.
• Sign off on clinical cases as designated by management.
