Job summary

Norman Regional Health System in Oklahoma is seeking a Medical Technologist to join our busy clinical laboratory. The role supports high-volume testing, ensures accurate results, and participates in instrument maintenance and quality control.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree with MT certification (ASCP or equivalent) and meet CLIA 1988 requirements, with 2–4 years of lab experience. Evening shift, full-time benefits, and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and MT certification with ASCP or equivalent.
• Must meet the minimum requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988.
• Four (4) years of laboratory experience as an MLT/HT (internal CLS2); OR Two (2) years of laboratory experience as a MT/HTL (internal CLS3)
• Registered with ASCP (or eligible for registry) as a Medical Technologist or equivalent

• Maintains instrumentation and work area.
• Maintains quality control and calibration functions.
• Provides training and assesses competencies.
• Consistently completes testing within established time frames.
• Recognize and address issues within the department.
