Job summary

South Texas Health System seeks a Senior IS Clinical Analyst to join the clinical information system team, supporting ED, OR and related systems. You will liaise for implementation, training material creation, end-user training, and ongoing maintenance across clinical and ancillary apps.

Responsibilities include problem tracking, resolution, system enhancements, testing, workflow redesign, and change management, with ongoing education for staff and physicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Associate or Bachelor degree in nursing, information systems or related field.
• 5+ years of clinical systems usage/support or direct patient care experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
• Experience with Cerner preferred and hospital-wide system familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison for implementation, support, training materials and end-user training.
• Coordinate maintenance for clinical information systems and related applications.
• Provide problem tracking, resolution and ongoing enhancement requests.
• Participate in testing, workflow redesign, change management and education for staff.
• Support ancillary and financial applications beyond the clinical system.
