Job summary

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Pasadena with research sites in San Diego seeks a Clinical Finance Senior Analyst to engage with CROs and sites, review and approve global site budgets for phase I-IV clinical trials. Incumbent will also assist in the review of site contracts and other study-related documents.

This is a full-time, onsite role. The position reports to the Clinical Finance Manager and works with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure objectives are met and to identify

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in clinical trial budgets or related field in biotech/pharma.
• Strong Excel skills; ability to analyze and interpret data for accuracy.
• Experience with site budgets, CTAs and FMV benchmarking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and approve site budgets and CTAs with Legal.
• Perform FMV benchmarking and monitor budget unit costs.
• Track site payments and ensure contractual obligation alignment.
• Maintain a master site list and ensure trial documents are collected.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and drive process improvements.
• Partner with internal/external stakeholders to guide financial decisions.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and workload sharing within Finance.
