Job summary

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Associate Director, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis to lead enterprise-wide FP&A, drive executive reporting, and provide strategic business support. You will oversee annual budgets, long-range plans, quarterly forecasts, and close activities while consolidating data and preparing executive presentations.

This role partners across G&A, Clinical, and Operations Finance, with a focus on process improvements and FP&A tooling like Anaplan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years FP&A experience with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and FP&A planning systems.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Understanding of US GAAP.
• Self-starter in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Leading annual budgets and long-range plans.
• Managing quarterly forecasts and quarterly close activities.
• Preparing executive presentations and consolidating financial data.
• Acting as the primary FP&A partner for G&A functions (Information Systems & Informatics, Finance, Legal, People Services).
• Supporting company-wide planning processes and FP&A tool enhancements (e.g., Anaplan).
• Collaborating with Clinical, Commercial, Partnership, and Operations Finance to drive process improvements.
