Job summary

Michigan Medicine, in collaboration with the AMSI, seeks a Lead Clinical Exercise Physiologist to head testing for high-performance athletes and NIH studies. You will oversee lab and field metabolic assessments, coordinate multi-system equipment, and contribute to research translating science to product development.

The role requires extensive hands-on experience, ACSM-CEP/RCEP credentials, and the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in kinesiology, exercise physiology, or related field.
• ACSM-CEP or RCEP certification or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical setup and calibration of physiology equipment.
• Collect and analyze in-lab and field metabolic testing data.
• Contribute to manuscripts and present findings at conferences.
• Supervise and mentor students working on AMSI projects.
