Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Kinesiology or related field.
• Hands-on expertise in metabolic testing and indirect calorimetry calibration.
• Competency in running/reading 12-lead ECG during various exercise tests.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple study timelines.
• Strong peer‑reviewed publication track record and scientific writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lab setup, equipment calibration and troubleshooting of physiology systems.
• Collect and analyze in-lab and field metabolic data with a focus on distance running.
• Publish high‑impact manuscripts and present findings at conferences.
• Mentor students and oversee day‑to‑day project operations for AMSI/NIH projects.
