Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) team seeks a Clinical Specialist II to provide engineering, clinical and educational support for EP products in the United States. You’ll work closely with physicians, healthcare staff and sales to drive case coverage and product adoption.

The role requires a biomedical background, EP product certification, and a minimum of 6 months in a Clinical Specialist position, plus 2 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, related field or equivalent healthcare experience required.
• Requires ability to become certified on EP products.
• Minimum of 6 months in Clinical Specialist position.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience (internal or external with industry competitor).
• Experience conducting 15+ cases per month for 6–12 consecutive months as primary mapper.
• Demonstrates ability to increase utilization of Abbott Advanced Mapping and Ablation Tools.
• Verification that vendor credentialing requirements (vaccination may be required).

Responsabilités

• Provide engineering, sales, educational and clinical support in response to field inquiries on EP products.
• Act as a clinical interface between medical community and business.
• Develop/train programs on EP products for healthcare professionals.
• Provide regional EP procedural case coverage and back-up support to EP Sales Representatives.
• Stay current on EP product trends, regulatory requirements, and industry developments.
• Assist Training and Education departments with advanced seminars and materials.
