Qualifications

• 10 years of work experience with Coding and Reimbursement as well as Clinical Pathways required.
• 7-10 years of progressive management experience required.
• CCS, CCDS, or CDIP certification required.
• Advanced clinical knowledge of disease processes and clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff performing chart reviews to improve clinical documentation quality.
• Perform reviews and oversight of direct reports to support reimbursement and hospital quality.
• Plan and develop clinical documentation education programs and ongoing development.
