Job summary

Indiana Treatment Centers seeks a Clinical Director to lead the Muncie facility's clinical services and ensure program integrity from day one. You will shape clinical operations, uphold ASAM criteria, and drive evidence-based practices with a collaborative leadership team.

You will supervise licensed clinicians, oversee admissions and treatment planning, and ensure compliance with Joint Commission, Medicaid, and documentation standards while supporting staff growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human services field is required.
• Active Indiana clinical license (LCAC, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in substance use disorder and/or behavioral health treatment.
• Prior supervisory or clinical leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission, Medicaid, and clinical documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for all therapeutic services (individual, group, family).
• Ensure treatment aligns with ASAM criteria, evidence-based practices, and trauma-informed care.
• Serve as a clinical resource to staff during complex cases and crises.
• Provide individual and group clinical supervision to licensed clinicians.
• Observe sessions and deliver structured feedback to support clinical excellence.
• Oversee clinical admission processes and appropriateness of level of care.
• Ensure individualized treatment planning reflecting clinical assessment and patient goals.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Medical, and Case Management to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards (Joint Commission, Medicaid, ASAM).
• Ensure timely completion of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Conduct regular chart audits and support QA, utilization review, and readiness activities.
• Lead onboarding, orientation, and ongoing development of clinical staff.
• Provide coaching, corrective feedback, and annual performance evaluations.
• Support licensure supervision requirements and professional growth pathways.
• Partner with leadership on program strategy, staffing models, and outcomes.
• Participate in pre-opening planning, licensure preparation, and go-live readiness.
