Job summary

Indiana Treatment Centers is seeking a Clinical Director to lead the clinical operations for a new Indiana facility. You will shape the clinical culture, establish standards from day one, and supervise a multidisciplinary team in a mission-driven organization.

You will work with executive leadership and clinical staff to ensure high-quality, trauma-informed care, ASAM-aligned programs, and strong documentation practices while supporting staff professional growth and program expansion.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Active Indiana clinical license required (LCAC, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in substance use disorder and/or behavioral health treatment.
• Prior supervisory or clinical leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, MI, trauma-informed care).
• Familiarity with Joint Commission, Medicaid, and clinical documentation standards.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for all therapeutic services (individual, group, family).
• Ensure treatment programming aligns with ASAM criteria and trauma-informed care.
• Serve as clinical resource to staff during complex cases and crises.
• Provide individual and group supervision to licensed/license-eligible clinicians.
• Lead interdisciplinary case reviews and clinical team meetings.
• Oversee clinical admissions and appropriateness of level of care.
• Ensure individualized treatment planning and continuity of care with other teams.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards and ensure timely documentation.
• Lead onboarding, supervision, and ongoing development of clinical staff.
• Collaborate with leadership on program strategy, staffing models, and outcomes.
