Job summary

Alto Neuroscience, based in Mountain View, CA, seeks an experienced Clinical Development Program Lead to oversee an advanced clinical program from Phase 1 through Phase 3, including long-term safety studies and regulatory submissions.

You will refine trial designs, manage cross-functional teams, ensure data integrity, and align activities with regulatory expectations, working with the CMO and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have MD, PhD or equivalent advanced degree.
• Minimum 5+ years in clinical development with Phase 1–3 oversight.
• Proven track record designing and leading psychiatry/neuroscience programs.
• Regulatory exposure with FDA/EMA meetings or commitments.
• Deep GCP and regulatory knowledge for pivotal programs.
• Strong leadership, communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end clinical program planning, design, and execution.
• Coordinate with PM, operations, data, and regulatory teams.
• Ensure data integrity, safety monitoring, and trial quality.
• Prepare regulatory packages and support NDA submissions.
• Represent the program at governance forums and external meetings.
