Job summary

AbbVie in Florham Park, NJ seeks a CDSO Lead or Clinical Data Scientist to serve as the data management domain expert and strategic partner to the clinical study team.

You will own the data collection strategy, drive implementation, oversee data quality delivery, and support on-time achievement of key study milestones while guiding cross-functional stakeholders toward data-driven decisions and clinical data science strategies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years pharma/clinical research/data management/health care experience or 8+ years PM experience.
• In-depth understanding of clinical trial processes and clinical technology.
• Lead a clinical trial from initiation to completion is preferred.
• Demonstrated functional leadership and ability to influence without authority.
• Strong communication and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own data collection strategies and data cleaning for assigned studies.
• Lead risk-based and continuous data review from start-up to database lock.
• Triages data quality and maintains data currency for timely decisions.
• Interpret data, metrics and dashboards to inform study decisions and risk management.
• Define data flow and triage issues from raw EDC to mapped SDTM data.
• Collaborate with tech teams, vendors and service providers to ensure data integrity.
