AstraZeneca plc is seeking a Senior Clinical Solutions Engineer, Data, to be the clinical data expert on our SaaS Delivery team. The role guides data requirements, standards, and technical solutions for connecting with Evinova’s SaaS offerings.

You’ll collaborate with clinical operations, IT, and engineering teams to deliver data-driven health tech at scale. Remote by design with on-site travel for customer UAT and governance, you’ll translate requirements into practical delivery and stay close

Competenze

Previous demonstrated experience in clinical operations, clinical data management, clinical trial planning, or a related technical field where data informs study decisions.
Strong working knowledge of clinical trial data structures, terminologies, and standards, including USDM and CDISC.
Hands-on familiarity with clinical trial operational, study design, cost and rate, and feasibility data, ideally including both clinical operational data and cost or finance data.
Strong background in the technical implementation of customer-facing data integrations across organizations, ideally for enterprise SaaS customers.
Strong working skills with structured data formats and secure file transfer.
Comfort with configuration in version control, command-line tools, and basic cloud concepts (for example, AWS).
Experience with work-tracking and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data flows, identify discrepancies, and troubleshoot complex data issues.
Ability to manage high-visibility, technical customer engagements, work independently across multiple engagements, and own problems end to end.
Executive presence and strong communication, with the ability to translate technical topics for non-technical audiences and collaborate across diverse teams.
Highly organized and solution-oriented, with resilience and adaptability in a fast-moving, newly emerging product space, and a passion for improving healthcare through technology.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (IT, information management, data science, computer science, life sciences) or equivalent experience

Mansioni

Lead customer data conversations and guide data requirements, datasets, ownership, and stakeholders.
Advise customers on data standards and how their data maps to Evinova’s offerings.
Develop deep expertise in Evinova’s data landscape and provide technical oversight during implementation.
Present clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders.
Guide data collection specifications, mapping, and transforming data to Evinova standards.
Support onboarding to ingest sponsor-specific data sources and load into customer environments.
Build data deliverables hands-on and validate loaded data in customer environments.
Manage defects and issues to resolution with Product and Engineering.
Navigate change control and environment promotion, coordinating approvals and timelines.
Champion change initiatives and align delivery with strategic goals and roadmaps.
Track progress across customers and internal partners, identifying and mitigating risks.
Establish and document best practices for data exchange and delivery playbooks.
Train internal teams and customers on data exchange procedures and standards.
Maintain a commercial mindset to ensure value for customers and Evinova.
Oversee end-to-end integrations, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and maintenance.
Coordinate reviews with Platform and Security partners.
Support system-upgrade impact assessments and post-implementation updates.
