Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Senior Clinical Data Manager to own data management for global projects remotely in the United States. You will lead from start-up to database lock, ensuring timely, accurate data delivery and mentoring junior staff.

You will develop essential DM documents, oversee data cleaning, UAT, and audits, and work with sponsors and cross-functional teams across time zones to advance study delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in biomedical sciences, life sciences, computer science, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical data management or related role.
• Strong knowledge of clinical data management best practices and technologies used in clinical trials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data management activities across multiple complex global projects and programs, from start-up through database lock and closeout.
• Develop Data Management Plans, database specifications, edit check specifications, CCGs, and Data Transfer Agreements.
• Oversee UAT, data cleaning, vendor reconciliation specs, and database lock activities to support timely study delivery.
• Allocate resources and monitor scope, budgets, timelines, risks; escalate concerns as needed.
• Represent Data Management in meetings with sponsors and internal teams; provide technical input on progress and issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Data Management leadership to resolve challenges and keep study activities moving forward.
• Lead process reviews and improvements to strengthen data management practices.
• Train, support, and mentor Data Management staff with best practices.
