Job summary

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Lead Data Manager to oversee data management for assigned clinical studies, ensuring high-quality, regulatory-compliant trial data. This role serves as the primary DM contact across cross-functional teams and vendors.

You will lead EDC setup and change control, develop DM Plans, monitor data quality, coordinate database locks, and drive process improvements within R&D. Requires 5–7 years in clinical data management, experience with Medidata Rave/Oracle

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5–7 years of clinical data management experience, including lead responsibilities.
• Proficiency with EDC systems (Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm, Veeva CDMS).
• Strong knowledge of CDASH/SDTM and regulatory guidelines (ICH GCP, FDA).
• Experience managing vendors, timelines, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead data management for one or more clinical studies from start-up to database lock.
• Develop and maintain study-level Data Management Plans (DMPs) and CRF guidelines.
• Oversee EDC system setup, UAT, and change control with vendors and internal teams.
• Coordinate data review, query management, and data cleaning to ensure data integrity.
