Job summary

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical company focused on metabolic liver disease, seeks a Lead Data Manager to oversee data management for assigned clinical studies.

You will serve as the primary DM contact, lead DMPs and CRF guidelines, manage EDC setup, data cleaning, and vendor deliverables, ensuring GCP and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of clinical data management experience in pharma/biotech.
• Experience leading data management for global trials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead DM for one or more clinical studies, end-to-end from start-up to database lock.
• Develop and maintain study-level DMPs, CRF guidelines, edit checks, and docs.
• Lead EDC setup, UAT, and database change control with vendors and internal teams.
• Coordinate data review, query management, and data cleaning to ensure integrity.
• Oversee external data handling (lab, ECG, imaging, PK/PD, ePRO) and reconciliation.
