The ideal candidate has a health-related degree and at least 2 years of experience in healthcare data, with strong data integrity and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health-related fields or RN required.
• At least 2 years of experience in health-related field.
• Experience with healthcare data and quality metrics preferred.
• Knowledge of registries and databases and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Directs and executes multiple, concurrent projects independent of or with little supervision from leadership.
• Leads the evaluation of the request for service to understand business and technical open issues to be clarified with the client.
• Works with the department's client to understand business needs, project scope, and deliverables for the request.
• Leads ongoing interface with the client to develop analytic approaches to the request.
• Understands and develops population definitions to meet project needs.
• Recommends data needs balancing against urgency and action requirements.
• Understands data context and aligns reports with other initiatives to develop sustainable solutions.
• Uses statistical techniques to describe and evaluate data and creates data visuals for management action.
• Provides value-added analysis and follow-up actions for business needs.
• Supports integrating data from multiple sources into a single dataset for analysis.
• Leads review and validation of complex, custom datasets.
• Recommends methods to deliver results to meet ongoing needs and facilitates data discussion.
• Develops reports using BI tools.
• Educates clients in clinical and financial operational concepts and data relationships.
• Consults with clients to quantify key operational performance elements within data constraints.
• Guides clients through data issues and data quality inconsistencies.
