Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a data analytics professional to lead health data projects remotely. You will define population definitions, integrate data from multiple sources, and build BI reports to support management decisions.

Required are a bachelor’s degree in health-related fields or RN, 2 years in healthcare data, and strong data management and communication skills. The role offers 40 hours weekly, dayshift, and fully remote work with comprehensive benefits.

• Understand health registries and databases; identify data integrity issues.
• Communicate effectively in verbal, written, and electronic formats.
• Proficient with computer software tools and Windows OS.

Responsibilities

• Directs and executes multiple, concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
• Leads evaluation of service requests to clarify business/technical issues with the client.
• Collaborates with the client's department to understand business needs, scope and deliverables.
• Leads ongoing interface with the client to develop analytic approaches.
• Develops population definitions to meet project needs.
• Recommends data delivery methods to balance data needs and urgency.
• Integrates data from multiple sources into a single dataset for analysis.
• Leads review and validation of complex datasets.
• Develops simple to complex BI reports for management.
