Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Associate Director of Clinical Consulting to oversee clinical relationships, allocate resources, and lead a team of clinical consultants. You will drive strategy, client satisfaction and retention while mentoring staff and ensuring contract deliverables.

The role requires clinical leadership, extensive client-facing experience, and the ability to manage multiple clients, with remote work eligibility across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree (BSPharm or PharmD) and licensed in the US.
• 5+ years of pharmacy practice experience.
• 3+ years of client-facing or clinical account management.
• 2+ years of health plan experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership position.
• Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical consulting client relationships and allocate resources.
• Provide routine reporting to leadership on milestones and issues.
• Ensure execution of clinical deliverables per client contracts.
• Align PBM clinical priorities with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with clients to set aggressive clinical program goals.
• Mentor and coach Clinical Consultants to boost engagement.
