Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 7 Years Directly Related Experience (IS or Clinical)
• Bachelor's Degree & 5 years Related Experience
• Masters' Degree (IS, Clinical, Business or Healthcare Administration) & 3 Years Related Experience
• Current Epic Certification or must obtain Epic Certification within 6 months
• Experience in IT as a business analyst or systems analyst in a medium to large organization
• Previous project management experience
• Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills
• Proficient in computers, use of clinical information systems, and Microsoft Office
• Strong experience in use of clinical information systems that affect patient care
• Strong interpersonal skills and high degree of professionalism
• Presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Analyze workflows, policies, and patient care processes for safety and consistency
• Coordinate resolution of system issues with users and technology resources
• Design, redesign and analyze processes to support software applications
• Prepare testing scripts and participate in testing for upgrades and fixes
• Serve as liaison between clinical users and the application team
• Develop tools and resources with subject matter experts
• Present to groups and manage project plans and timelines
• Provide user training and ongoing support
