Job summary

The Clinical Information Analyst at University of Michigan contributes to improving patient care by gathering and interpreting data from inpatient and ambulatory settings, using SQL and Power BI to mine, analyze, and report on performance, cost and outcomes.

You will collaborate with physicians, analysts and developers, produce dashboards, ensure data quality, and translate clinical and business needs into actionable deliverables while reporting to the Analytics and Informatics Team manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a health or quantitative field as required.
• Minimum years depending on seniority: 5 years for senior, 3 years for intermediate.
• Experience analyzing clinical outcomes and costs of care.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to improve quality and cost of care in inpatient and ambulatory settings.
• Design reports and dashboards for leadership and clinicians.
• Validate data quality and collaborate with physicians, analysts, and developers.
• Support data storage and ETL activities and document methods.
