Qualifications
- Significant scientific, technical, and applied on‑farm expertise in soil health and biochar across diverse systems.
- Experience with soil systems modeling and microbial/ecological processes to inform practice adoption.
- Proven ability to develop models, tools, and decision support resources grounded in research and producer experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead applied research, literature reviews, data analysis, modeling and life cycle assessment; provide technical leadership for fundraising.
- Develop science translation resources: decision tools, guides, manuals, curricula and trainings to support adoption.
- Build and strengthen networks with producers, advisors, and partners to scale adoption of soil health strategies.
