Qualifications

• At least a law degree from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing of the bar in any jurisdiction or eligible for Rhode Island admission
• Extensive litigation experience in state and federal courts preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and support litigation and other initiatives to achieve greenhouse gas reduction mandates
• Carry a full civil litigation caseload as first chair, draft motions, and argue in court
• Collaborate with community advocates, outside counsel, and other AG offices on multistate litigation
• Represent the state in diverse civil matters including environmental law, administrative law, and energy regulation
