Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Ownership — primary contact for all supply chain and WaveMark-related needs.
  • WaveMark Operational Support — ensure sites follow required workflows and escalate non-compliance.
  • Customer Service & Issue Resolution — guide sites through complex inquiries and coordinate resolutions.
  • Education & Best Practices — train sites on supply chain fundamentals and procure-to-pay processes.
  • Onboarding & Transitions — lead onboarding for new sites, relocations, expansions, and closures.
  • Standardization & Optimization — participate in cost-effective product standardization and workflow improvements.
  • Documentation & Standard Work — define and maintain standard work processes for WaveMark workflows.
  • Training Leadership — oversee training materials and sessions.
  • Project Leadership — manage complex projects impacting supply chain operations and WaveMark adoption.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration — liaise between ICT, Value Analysis, clinical teams, vendors, and distributors.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making — use dashboards and KPI reports to identify trends and opportunities.

This position will work full time on a hybrid schedule (3 days on site, 2 days remote) based out of our Integrated Service Center in Plainfield, IN. However, weekly travel through out the various system hospitals will be required.

As a Senior Consultant, Client Relationship Manager, you'll serve as the key connection between hospital partners, supply chain operations, and WaveMark solutions, ensuring critical inventory and ordering processes run seamlessly. This highly visible role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, driving operational excellence, and taking ownership of outcomes across multiple acute care facilities. You'll act as a trusted advisor to customers while leading efforts to optimize workflows, improve supply availability, and deliver an exceptional service experience.

Minimum Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in Supply Chain or business related field or equivalent years of experience.

  • 5-7 years of related experience.

    • Supply Chain experience is required.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint software applications required.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability.

  • Strong analytical skills and an accomplished problem-solver.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Ownership-Establishstrong relationships with assigned acute sites and serve as the primary point of contact for all supply chain andWaveMark‑relatedneeds.
  • WaveMarkOperational Support-Partner closely with the Inventory Control Tower(ICT)to ensure sites follow required workflows (cycle counts,find‑by‑scan, waste review, expiry review, preference card optimization).Identifynon‑complianceandescalate toleadership when needed.
  • Customer Service & Issue Resolution-Guide sites through complex inquiries, troubleshoot ordering orWaveMarkissues, and coordinate with vendors, distributors, and internal teams to resolve problems quickly.
  • Education & Best Practices-Train sites on supply chain fundamentals, proprietary ordering systems, and theprocure‑to‑payprocess. Reinforce best practices that reduce waste, prevent lost items, and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Onboarding & Transitions-Lead supply chain onboarding for new sites, relocations, expansions, and closures. EnsureWaveMarkreadiness and proper item setup during transitions.
  • Standardization & Optimization-Participatein and sometimes lead initiatives focused on product standardization,cost‑effectivealternatives, workflow improvements, and operational efficiency.
  • Documentation & Standard Work-Define, document, andmaintainstandard work processes forfacilitiesandWaveMarkworkflows.
  • Training Leadership-Oversee training materials, coordinate training sessions, and ensure sites understand expectations and compliance requirements.
  • Project Leadership-Manage complex projects thatimpactsupply chain operations,WaveMarkadoption, orcross‑functionalworkflows.
  • CrossFunctionalCollaboration-Serve as a liaison between ICT, Value Analysis, Clinical teams, vendors, and distributors to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • DataDrivenDecision Making-UseWaveMarkdashboards,PowerBidashboards,KPI reports, and inventory analytics toidentifytrends, outliers, and opportunities for improvement.
Core Competencies
  • Responsible for managing relationships with designated portfolio of non-acute business; this aspect of business does not have logistics staff.

  • Establishes ownership of business outcomes.

  • Assists less experienced team members in navigating through various customer service inquiries.

  • Serves as primary liaison between various supply chain teams, vendors/distributors, and sites.

  • Establishes and manages positive relationship with the sites to ensure supply chain needs are met. Educates sites on supply chain best practices, proprietary ordering systems, fundamentals of the procure-to-pay process to maximize opportunities and streamline operations.

  • Assists service lines/sites with onboarding of new business, moves and closures for product and services.

  • Participates and may lead in selection, evaluation, monitoring, analysis and implementation of standardization efforts including cost effective products, services, and processes.

  • Leads oversight of training and training material.

  • Defines, documents, and exhibits scope of standard work processes.

  • Manages and leads more complex and difficult projects impacting department.

  • Viewed as a team leader.
