Job summary

Anthesis Group is seeking a Senior Client Manager to support our expanding North American team. You will deliver actionable insights to inform clients’ sustainability strategy, goals, and reporting across diverse industries, engaging with stakeholders globally.

In this client-facing role, you’ll lead cross-functional teams, guide transformations, and build lasting client relationships. The position is based in the United States and offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in an inhouse sustainability practitioner role, management consultancy, or client management in sustainability.
• Experience working with all levels of an organization, including C-suite and senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading teams and working across cross-functional groups.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong problem-solving, strategic planning, and analytical abilities.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of business environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements across the full lifecycle, from needs assessment to measurable impact.
• Build and direct cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality client delivery.
• Partner with clients to identify and address opportunities for sustainable performance improvement.
• Guide clients through strategic, structural, operational, and management transformations.
• Facilitate executive alignment to secure buy-in and resources for implementation.
• Oversee research and analysis, including data collection and interpretation for decision making.
• Design and lead workshops to foster collaboration and co-create solutions.
• Diagnose organizational challenges and formulate actionable recommendations.
• Prepare business proposals and deliver strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Support implementation ensuring clients have tools and guidance for success.
• Lead and mentor project teams, driving performance and growth.
