Job summary

Anthesis Group in the United States seeks an Associate Director of Life Cycle Assessment to lead complex LCA engagements and shape innovative approaches within the LCA Center of Excellence. You will translate environmental data into strategic guidance for executives, while mentoring teams and contributing to growth initiatives.

You will collaborate with clients to deliver rigorous assessments, ensure compliance with international standards, and help expand Anthesis’ LCA offerings across sectors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on LCA experience across sectors.
• Degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14040/14044, ISO 14067, GHG Protocol Product Standard, PEF, PCRs, EN standards.
• Experience with GHG inventories and corporate carbon footprinting.
• Ability to apply LCA to complex or emerging contexts including circular systems and new tech.
• Proven client-facing communication and leadership in multi-project environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex LCA engagements from approach to delivery with technical rigor.
• Shape innovative LCA approaches for emerging contexts and new technologies.
• Translate LCA results into actionable insights for C-suite and sustainability leaders.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor and tailor approaches to client challenges.
• Provide technical leadership and QA across projects and mentor teams.
• Lead and develop project teams and build LCA capabilities.
• Contribute to business development, proposals, and client conversations.
• Shape the future of LCA and sustainability transformation.
• Represent Anthesis externally at events and forums.
