Job summary

Allison Transmission is seeking a Senior Client Engineer to lead design, support, and ongoing improvement of our Microsoft endpoint platform in a large-scale enterprise environment. You will own complex endpoint engineering functions and act as a senior technical resource focused on modern management, automation, and policy standardization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft certifications preferred.
• Strong expertise in modern endpoint management and Microsoft ecosystem tooling.
• Strong scripting and automation background required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, support, and continuous improvement of core client platform services.
• Own complex endpoint engineering functions and serve as a senior technical resource.
• Design and implement scalable endpoint standards and policies.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for endpoint issues.
• Drive endpoint lifecycle improvements: provisioning, patching, deployment, and device compliance.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and other tools.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and operations to implement endpoint initiatives.
• Establish documentation, standards, and runbooks.
