Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners seeks a fully cleared Embedded Developer to design, develop, debug and modify embedded software. The role analyzes requirements and translates them into software instructions, using both manual and automated code generation tools.

The candidate will work with a team to breakdown specifications and document operations for users. Responsibilities include writing code, clarifying actions, performing testing, and guiding the project to completion with government

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of software/system development or a Master’s with 8+ years of experience in multiple areas.
Expertise in three or more of the listed areas: system requirements analysis, design, and development.
Four years of equivalent related experience may substitute for the Bachelor degree.

Responsibilities

Break down program specifications into its simplest elements and translate them into code.
Clarify actions the program is intended to perform.
Work as part of a team to write a specific section of code.
Write detailed documentation for the operation of the program by users.
Establish detailed program specifications through discussion with government stakeholders.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing.
Guide the design and development process to completion.
Test critical portions of programs to ensure proper operation.
