Job summary

The Home Depot in Atlanta seeks a Sr. Analyst, Clearance Operations to lead clearance strategies for SKU exits.

You will analyze data, build presentations, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for merchants, partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing and exits. Key responsibilities include designing pricing actions to balance units, sales, and gross margin; conducting analytic research; leveraging cross-functional partnerships; and delivering influential

Qualifications

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Familiarity with Merchandising core concepts and systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations (GCP/BigQuery proficiency preferred).
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and building models from large datasets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including building presentations for senior audiences.

Responsibilities

50% Design, implement and measure pricing actions to understand the trade-off between units, sales and gross margin.
20% Conduct research to become subject matter expert on a specific segment of pricing and statistical analysis.
10% Work across the organization and leverage cross functional teams to provide expert analytical support.
20% Develop and deliver influential presentations that summarize complex analyses and drive effective business decisions.
