Job summary

Salas O’Brien, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to lead clean utilities projects in a cGMP environment at client sites in Raleigh, NC. You will draft technical documentation, specifications, URS, and test plans for FAT/SAT/CQV and assess current manufacturing processes to identify clean utility needs.

The role emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration, rigorous documentation, and driving sustainability, productivity, and cost reduction while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-10 years in pharmaceutical or high-purity water/steam systems experience.
• Experience with clean utility systems and process gases is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead clean utilities initiatives from concept design to implementation and testing.
• Support incident investigations, due diligence, and corrective actions for utility systems.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain design specifications, test plans, and progress reports with clear documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and project teams.
• Foster innovative solutions to client problems.
