Job summary

CSL Behring is seeking a seasoned Utilities Engineer to lead the design, engineering, safety and quality support for Clean Utilities, HVAC, plant steam, process gases and other utility systems at the Kankakee facility. You will drive reliability improvements, manage CMMS data integrity and support operations, maintenance, automation and validation teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
5+ years in relevant pharmaceutical/industrial utility engineering.
Strong knowledge of utility systems (clean water, gases, steam, HVAC, etc.).
Experience with CAPA, change control and regulatory standards (USP, EU GMP, CFR).

Responsibilities

Lead operational improvement of utility systems and ensure reliability.
Maintain CMMS data integrity and implement RCA investigations.
Develop maintenance procedures with Reliability Engineering.
Oversee equipment life-cycle planning and asset management with cross-functional teams.
Coordinate system drawings, URS, risk and safety assessments; validate IQ/OQ activities.
Support capital project shutdowns, tie-ins and startups.
