Job summary

CSL Behring is seeking an experienced Utilities Engineer to oversee design, engineering, safety and quality support for utility systems at the Kankakee facility. You will lead reliability programs and drive continuous improvement across clean utilities, HVAC, steam, process gases and related equipment.

The role requires a BS in Engineering with 5+ years in pharma utilities, deep knowledge of CMMS, CFRs and GMP, and the ability to manage capital projects with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with BS.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with MS.
• Knowledge of ASME BPE, USP, EU GMP, ISO standards and CFRs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational improvement of utility systems across clean and plant utilities.
• Provide engineering support for compliance and reliability.
• Develop preventive maintenance procedures with Reliability Engineering.
• Manage documentation and change control for utility systems.
• Support capital projects and cross-functional teams to meet timelines and budget.
