Marathon Petroleum Corporation is seeking a Senior Trader for the Clean Products Trading group in Houston. The role involves managing the USGC Light Ends desk, optimizing trades and schedules, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to maximize value while ensuring safe, compliant operations.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in trading/marketing, P&L ownership, and a strong commercial mindset. Relocation is available and travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of trading or marketing experience with P&L responsibility.
• Experience in vessel operations, blending, and terminal operations preferred.
• Senior Trader: 5+ years of trading/marketing experience including profit/loss responsibility and scheduling.

Aufgaben

• Part of USGC Light Ends trading desk and support to MPC Light Ends team.
• Manage MPC’s Jones Act Fleet and Florida market demands.
• Review market conditions and adjust plans to optimize value for MPC.
• Evaluate and execute discretionary trades and business development opportunities (storage, blending, freight).
• Negotiate and execute deals that maximize economic benefits to the company.
• Build and maintain relationships with counterparties and partners.
