Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP in Houston is seeking a Trading Operations Analyst to ensure trades move accurately through the transaction lifecycle. You will handle trade capture, validation, position reconciliation, and support settlements while maintaining data quality across trading systems.

You will work closely with Traders to deliver timely market and operational information, monitor risk data, and develop analytic tools and dashboards to support commercial decisions and daily trading

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
3+ years of experience in commercial, risk, or trading analytics.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Supports P&L or supply/demand models through daily position tracking.
Develops models, dashboards, and reports for commercial use.
Provides analytical support for new opportunities and strategy.
Performs ad-hoc analyses and prepares leadership presentations.
Maintains external/internal information to support market intelligence.
