Job summary

Metrea seeks an experienced Classified Systems Administrator to secure and maintain high-consequence IT infrastructure in a heavy security environment. You will lead core IT tasks across Linux/Windows, with air-gapped networks and strict AIS controls for DoD/IC work.

You’ll implement security baselines, manage identity services, and ensure disaster readiness while maintaining detailed documentation and COMSEC accountability. US Citizenship and TS/SCI clearance required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as System Administrator providing comprehensive system support.
• Hands-on experience applying DISA STIGs and remediating compliance findings on classified networks.
• Strong background troubleshooting core infrastructure services (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPOs) in isolated environments.
• Experience configuring new hardware systems into active environments for operational readiness.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with FS Polygraph; U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st–3rd tier IT support across complex classified environments and air-gapped networks.
• Apply security configuration and hardening following DISA STIGs and federal best practices.
• Manage AD, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, LDAP, and patch deployment workflows.
• Administer virtualized environments, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Maintain hardware, cables, servers, desktops, and secure mobile devices with hands-on ownership.
• Create SOPs and system baselines documentation for audits and operations.
• Act as COMSEC custodian, maintaining custody and inventory of cryptographic materials.
• Follow NSA CNSSI directives and customer security procedures; support after-hours as needed.
