Job summary

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
• CompTIA Security+ or higher aligned to DoD 8140/8570 requirements.
• 5+ years of systems administration experience in Windows and/or Linux.
• 2+ years of direct people management experience.
• Experience in a DoD/government classified or regulated environment.
• Knowledge of STIG, RMF, NIST 800-53/800-171 security controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Systems Administrators across classified environments.
• Hire, coach, and develop team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Translate priorities into concrete team plans and drive delivery.
• Maintain hands-on credibility and contribute technically as needed.
• Lead patching, STIG remediation, ATO prep, and incident response.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align efforts.
• Own ticket queue and ensure SLA adherence from Tier 1 to 3.
