Job summary

RAND Corporation in Washington, DC is seeking a highly experienced IT Network Engineer for classified environments. The role focuses on designing and sustaining LAN/WAN, cloud, and voice/data networks within SIPRNET, TS/SCI/SAP environments and unclassified spaces as needed.

The candidate will lead projects, advise on emerging technologies, and ensure compliance with DoD/IC policies. On-site, full-time position with potential travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; BS/BA preferred or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in classified, DoD, IC, or secure enterprise IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME in day-to-day data, voice, LAN/WAN, Cloud and AV for Classified and unclassified environments.
• Collaborate with S&CO Systems Administration and IS Managers on compliance and technical matters.
• Lead small-to-medium projects and design tactical solutions for classified network operations.
• Prepare for and participate in government inspections of classified environments at RAND sites.
