Job summary

PotomacWave is seeking a Senior Classification Analyst to join our team supporting a Federal client in Washington, DC. You will provide technical project management and information management support to the DOE-IN, PSIM Division, focusing on classification, prepublication reviews, foreign disclosure, and training.

The role requires coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing workflows, and ensuring compliance with IC and DOE policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• At least 10 years’ experience in classification, information management, foreign disclosure, or related IC functions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Executive Orders, IC Directives, DOE classification guidance, and related policies.
• Experience conducting classification, prepublication, and/or foreign disclosure reviews.
• Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Ability to develop, improve, and document business processes and workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior leadership.
• Experience maintaining SharePoint sites or similar knowledge management platforms.
• Active DOE Q or Top-Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee information management initiatives supporting DOE-IC programs.
• Serve as primary point of contact for information management projects and provide technical guidance.
• Conduct classification, prepublication, and foreign disclosure reviews with compliant recommendations.
• Define scope, requirements, workflows, roles, and responsibilities for initiatives.
• Capture risks and issues and manage activities to completion.
• Build relationships with customers and stakeholders through responsive guidance and communication.
• Coordinate stakeholder reviews for classification and information management activities.
• Lead DOE-IC classification training, onboarding, and recurring requirements for SCI-cleared personnel.
• Develop training agendas, materials, and program artifacts.
• Maintain classified and unclassified SharePoint sites with accuracy and consistency.
• Support foreign disclosure reviews per IC and DOE guidance.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of DOE-IN classification guidance.
