Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of claims processing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identifies and resolves problems in claims processing with timely resolution.
• Provides daily management support to Claims Examiners and Claims Benefits Specialists.
• Monitors team production, supports attainment of goals while ensuring accuracy.
• Responds rapidly to processing questions and ensures timely resolution of queue issues.
• Audits claims processing guidelines and coordinates post-training improvements with the trainer/manager.
• Assists the Manager with performance reviews and team meetings.
• Contributes to process and service improvement initiatives and action plans.
• Compiles and reviews internal reports to identify incorrect claims payments, and forwards for weekly check processes.
• Serves as initial point of contact for work schedules and staffing considerations.
