Qualifications

• 10+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associate in Claims, CPCU or other industry related studies.
• Experience with Windows operating system.
• Basic Word processing skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the day-to-day activities of a claims handling unit and oversees the investigation of insurance claims.
• Ensures corporate claims handling procedures and priorities are followed and budget/productivity targets are met.
• Ensures customer service quality targets and priorities are met.
• Participates in hiring, training, evaluation and development of the claims staff.
