Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive commercial claims handling experience.
• Focus on Professional Liability lines of business.
• Strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Present claims and recommendations to relevant committees.
• Incorporate claims into records and review coverage applicability.
• Prepare large loss reports as needed.
• Attend mediations/trials when required.
• Establish and maintain reserves for loss and expense.
• Supervise Independent Adjusters, investigators and defense attorneys.
