Job summary

Marsh is hiring a Senior Consultant for its Claims Consulting Practice in a hybrid role. You will oversee engagements blending claims expertise with project management, data-driven oversight, and client-facing delivery.

You will translate claims data into actionable insights, manage workstreams with stakeholders, and drive outcomes that improve claim performance and client value. Expect growth opportunities within a global advisor and a supportive, results-driven team.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a relevant field or equivalent insurance, claims, or consulting experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in liability and/or workers’ compensation claims, claims consulting, TPA/carrier operations, or related risk management functions.
• Demonstrated experience managing client-facing projects, workstreams, or service delivery responsibilities in a professional services, claims, or consulting environment.
• Experience working with claims data, reporting tools, Excel-based analysis, and/or RMIS platforms to support decision-making and client communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing presentations, summaries, and recommendations for clients or leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate stakeholders, and maintain attention to detail across timelines, deliverables, and follow-up items.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert complex information into practical, client-oriented recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate liability and/or workers’ compensation claims and programs to identify trends and opportunities for improved outcomes.
• Lead project management activities across engagements, including workplan development and milestone tracking.
• Manage client-facing reporting processes and communication of key findings to stakeholders.
• Translate claims data into concise, compelling reporting that informs decisions.
• Facilitate kickoff meetings, strategy sessions, and ongoing client communications.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and performance metrics; identify risks and propose solutions.
• Oversee data management related to claims inventory, closure tracking, and action plans.
• Develop client-ready deliverables such as presentations, dashboards, and recommendations.
• Support practice growth by identifying opportunities for engagement expansion and process improvements.
• Maintain knowledge of claims trends and market developments relevant to liability and workers’ compensation.
