Progressive is seeking a claims specialist in Pasadena, CA to investigate large-loss injury claims valued over $60k. You will work with police, medical professionals and claimants to gather facts and assess coverage, liability and total claim value.

The role is hybrid, with four in-office days per month for meetings and training; colleagues provide coaching, and you can opt for more in-office days if you prefer.

Qualifications

• Six years of relevant work experience with three years in claims handling OR
• Three years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree OR
• Five years of relevant work experience with three years in claims handling and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Investigating intricate and high-risk claims that may involve litigation features.
• Consulting with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident.
• Determining coverage, liability and the total value of the claim.
