Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 9 years of property and casualty claims handling experience.
• Professional designation such as Associate in Claims (AIC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages a large inventory of complex claims and evaluates compensability/liability.
• Plans and conducts complex investigations to confirm coverage and liability.
• Analyzes and negotiates settlements and reserves within authority.
• May attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials.
• Maintains detailed claim files and communicates with insureds and external partners.
