Job summary

Old Republic Commercial Risk is seeking a Corporate Compliance Specialist under the AVP of Compliance and Claim Operations. The role involves interpreting state, federal and industry insurance regulations and guiding procedures to ensure regulatory adherence across the organization.

The incumbent will coordinate regulatory submissions, monitor changes, and collaborate with operating companies to meet compliance requirements, while leveraging strong analytical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 5+ years in insurance industry required.
CPCU/AIC or similar designation is desirable.
State adjusting licenses and CE credits as needed.

Responsibilities

Analyze state, federal and industry insurance legislation and regulations for impact on operations.
Monitor timely implementation of action plans to ensure regulatory compliance.
Plan and implement system revisions for rates, rules and claim handling changes.
Review APCIA notices and state bulletins for changes to forms and materials.
Coordinate and prepare regulatory submissions to state departments and Claims Operations.
Analyze consumer complaints and inquiries from state regulators.
