In this role you will analyze coverage, oversee investigations, guide defense counsel, pursue subrogation, and adjust reserves while maintaining cost-effective outcomes. The position emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and adherence to PLCA guidelines across claims teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 7 years related experience; senior adjuster level.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled or able to obtain licenses.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices; computer literacy in claims software.

Responsibilities

• Manages full life cycle of complex general liability claims per PLCA guidelines.
• Analyzes coverage, reviews investigations, evaluates damages, and recommends settlements.
• Prepares timely reports for reinsurers, JPAs, and Superpools; maintains data.
• Directs defense counsel, controls litigation costs, and attends mediations or settlements as needed.
• Pursues subrogation opportunities and adjusts reserves based on claim developments.
• Drafts coverage letters, negotiates settlements, and ensures compliance with standards.
• Provides guidance to junior adjusters and supports client file reviews.
• Maintains minimum billing productivity of 80% daily.
